Mission Statement

Youth Transition Services works with young people to help them engage in education, training and employment that enriches their lives and adds to their self-esteem.

The Youth Transition Service is set up to assist young people, primarily between the ages of 15 and 17 years to transition from school to further training or employment. The service is free.

Young people register with the service and receive help to transition either into training or employment - while enrolled in school or after they leave school. We can help a young person to get all they need to take the next step - birth certificate, curriculum vitae, career plan

and more!

YTS YTS works closely with Careers NZ to ensure our young people receive specialist career guidance and a plan for action. It is important that we connect young people with opportunities that will assist them in engaging in further learning so that they can pursue employment and career opportunities - now and in the future. We also assist young people to pursue University opportunities – at Auckland, Waikato, Victoria, Canterbury & Otago.
